Huge crockpot riesiger Schmalztopf
Old German crock pot, handmade, produced in the Westerwald area, back in the old days, estimated date of origin is the 30/40ies of last century. This heavy earthen ware pot stands almost 9 inches (22,5 cm) high, the diameter on the top rim is about 10 and a half inches. No chips no cracks, the handles are solid and the decoration shows some cobalt blue paintings, saltglazed on in and outside. This pot is a great addition to any collection of pottery, a nice decoration for your country kitchen. All the Westerwald pots are unique, there are always some differences in shape and ornamentation. Item is quite heavy (4500 g). Worldwide shipping, fees on request.
